The SwitchBot Motion Sensor is an advanced device designed to make your home smarter and safer. With the ability to detect motion within a radius of up to 9 meters, it easily covers large areas. Its 110° horizontal and 55° vertical detection angles ensure no movement goes unnoticed.

Integrated light sensor for intelligent automation

In addition to motion detection, the SwitchBot motion detector features a built-in light sensor. This sensor distinguishes between bright and dark environments, allowing you to create automations based on the lighting conditions. For example, the light can only be turned on when motion is detected in a dark environment, saving energy and increasing comfort.

Easy installation and flexible placement

Thanks to its wireless design and the included magnetic base, installing the SwitchBot Motion Detector is straightforward. You can place the sensor on virtually any surface or attach it with the included 3M adhesive pads. The magnetic base also allows for flexible orientation, allowing the sensor to be optimally aligned to the area you want to monitor.

Long battery life for reliable operation

The SwitchBot motion detector is powered by two AAA batteries, which are included. Thanks to energy-efficient technology, the battery life is up to three years, based on an average of 120 motion detections per day. This ensures long-term, low-maintenance operation.

Integration into the SwitchBot ecosystem

As part of the SwitchBot ecosystem, the motion detector connects seamlessly with other SwitchBot devices. Combined with the SwitchBot Hub Mini, you can create advanced automations and integrate the motion detector into your existing smart home system. This allows, for example, to automatically turn on lights or trigger notifications when motion is detected.
