Efficient control for electric heating systems

The Eberle UTE 3800 is an electronic flush-mounted room controller specifically designed for controlling electric heating systems such as central heating, warm water underfloor heating, and warm air heating. With a switching current of 16 (4) A at 230 V AC, it is suitable for high loads and enables precise temperature control in the range of 5 to 30 °C.

Seamless integration into your smart home

Thanks to the manufacturer-independent Matter WiFi standard, the UTE 3800 can be easily integrated into common smart home systems. This allows control via popular smart home apps such as Google Home, Apple Home, or Amazon Alexa, without the need for additional gateways or specific thermostat apps. A Matter-enabled smart speaker is required for this. Installation can also be performed without a WiFi connection, so the controller is functional immediately after selecting the heating application on the device.

Easy installation and versatile customization options

The thermostat is designed for installation in 55x55 mm flush-mounted boxes and thus fits into the most common switch frames from manufacturers such as Berker, Busch-Jaeger, Elso, Gira, Jung, and Merten. Operation is via a white dot-matrix LED display and touch buttons, ensuring intuitive operation. The UTE 3800 also offers adjustable control modes: You can choose between pulse width modulation (PWM) and two-point control to optimally adapt the control to your needs.

Additional features for more comfort

The Eberle UTE 3800 features a programmable clock function, which can be set in the smart home app, as well as a frost protection function that prevents the room temperature from dropping below 5°C. An unauthorized access lock protects against unintentional settings. The temperature setting range is limitable, and a valve protection function prevents valves from sticking. Furthermore, the controller is adaptable to valves that are open when de-energized and features a presence/setback input.
