The Bosch Smart Home Relay makes electrical devices smart by enabling their switching via a potential-free contact. Whether garage doors, ventilation systems, pumps, sockets, or lighting – this relay allows for intelligent control of a wide variety of applications. It can be installed invisibly behind existing switches or in junction boxes, eliminating the need for additional visible components.

Flexible control options

The relay can be operated according to your needs: manually via conventional wall switches or buttons, via app control, via timer programs, or via voice commands with Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, or Siri. You can also integrate it into automations and scenarios to link it with other smart home devices.

Two operating modes for maximum customization

The Bosch Smart Home Relay offers two different modes:

• On/Off mode: Allows manual switching on and off as well as control via time programs.
• “Surge” mode: Sends a short pulse to central impulse relays, for example for stairwell lights or garage doors.

Extending the radio range

As an additional feature, the relay acts as a repeater for Bosch Smart Home devices. This amplifies the wireless signal and allows devices to be used even in more distant rooms, such as the basement or garage.

Maximum safety and reliable function

The smart relay continuously monitors its temperature and automatically shuts off if it overheats. A corresponding notification is sent directly to the Bosch Smart Home app. Furthermore, the integrated child lock ensures that manual switches or buttons can be locked if necessary.

Easy installation and high compatibility

Installing the Bosch Smart Home Relay is straightforward and can be done using the step-by-step instructions in the app. Its compact design (40.5 × 47 × 22 mm) allows installation in standard flush-mounted boxes with a minimum depth of 50 mm. A permanent 230V power supply with a single conductor and a neutral conductor is required.
