The Bosch Smart Home Dimmer enables precise and flexible control of your dimmable lighting. Whether LEDs, halogen bulbs, or traditional incandescent bulbs – with this module, you can adjust the brightness of your lights precisely to your needs. The dimming mode (leading or trailing edge) can be set directly in the Bosch Smart Home app.

Thanks to its diverse control options, you can operate the light as you wish: directly via a conventional button, via app, via voice assistant (Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, or Siri), or as part of predefined scenarios and automations. This makes your home even smarter.

Space-saving installation – also for outdoor use

The smart dimmer is installed invisibly behind existing switches or in junction boxes. Thanks to weatherproof installation boxes (IP66), it can even be used outdoors. Its compact size fits easily into standard flush-mounted boxes with a minimum depth of 50 mm – for discreet integration into your smart home.

Radio amplification for a stable connection

The Bosch Smart Home Dimmer acts as a repeater, amplifying the wireless signal of certain Bosch Smart Home devices. This allows the system to cover a wider range, ensuring devices remain reliably connected even in distant rooms or basements.

Increased security and reliable operation

The dimmer continuously monitors its temperature and warns in case of overheating or overload. In an emergency, it automatically shuts off and sends a notification to your app. Furthermore, the child lock function ensures that manual buttons can be blocked – ideal for households with small children.

Easy installation and high compatibility

Installation is done via step-by-step instructions in the Bosch Smart Home app. The dimmer also integrates seamlessly with Apple HomeKit, Amazon Alexa, and Google Home, allowing it to be combined with other compatible smart home devices. Please note that a Bosch Smart Home Controller or Bosch Smart Home Controller II is required for use.
