The RFSAI-62B-SL/MT switching actuator is a versatile solution for controlling electrical appliances and lighting systems. With two independent switching channels, it enables separate control of two loads, promoting flexibility and efficiency in home automation.

Integration and control

Thanks to the inputs for external switches, the switching actuator can be seamlessly integrated into existing installations. This allows the use of existing switches to control the connected devices. Additionally, the RFSAI-62B-SL/MT supports wireless control via compatible wall switches such as the RFGB-40-MT, further increasing ease of use.

Design and installation

The compact BOX-SL design of the switching actuator allows for installation directly in flush-mounted boxes, suspended ceilings, or in the housing of the device to be controlled. The screwless terminals simplify the connection of the cables and ensure quick and secure installation.

Performance

With a maximum switching capacity of 2000 W (8 A), the RFSAI-62B-SL/MT is suitable for a wide range of loads. The AgSnO2 relay contacts, combined with the zero-crossing circuit, make it particularly suitable for switching lighting loads, as they increase the service life of the switching contacts and reduce electromagnetic interference.

Communication and compatibility

The switching actuator communicates via the Thread protocol, ensuring a reliable and energy-efficient connection within the smart home network. Support for the Matter standard ensures compatibility with a wide range of smart home platforms, enabling future-proof integration. A Thread Border Router and a Matter-compatible hub with the corresponding app are required for setup and control.

Range and operation

The RFSAI-62B-SL/MT's wireless range is up to 200 meters outdoors, allowing for flexible placement within the home. The integrated reset button also serves as a programming button and allows manual control of the outputs, further simplifying operation.
